There are a variety of ways in which  the layman can use essential oils for health and beauty. The novice should start with three or five essential oils that they feel personally attracted to.
Always obey the rule of “less is more” i.e. keep dilutions to 1-3drops (one to three)per 5ml. carrier oil and be aware of any contra-indications that may exist for your personally chosen essential oil.

Renee Nicolai calls herself a Natural Hairdresser.

“But what does that actually mean?” I ask over tea. “Natural… how?” We’re sitting in her garden in Plumstead where streams of women come to see her. Some have even dubbed her the “Hair Whisperer”. She laughs uproariously when I mention it.

“It’s really not that difficult to go natural. Actually, anyone can do it,” she says. “Natural hair-care is an approach to hair. There are a couple of simple laws you need to follow, and if you do the condition of your hair will improve dramatically. The First Law is: you have to accept it.

One of the easiest meals to prepare when one is short on time or ideas, eggs contain a whole array of nutrients among which are the amino acid  tryptophan, the trace minerals selenium and iodine, the minerals molybdenum, phosphorus, iron and zinc,  the vitamins B2(riboflavin), B5(pantothenic acid), B7(biotin), B12, choline and Vitamin D, as well as the carotenoids luitein and zeaxanthin.
