The answer is obviously no, the sun is not the only source of clean energy. Check below the other options
- Energy keeps our food cold (fridge) warms it up (oven, microwave, stove) washes the dishes(dishwasher) and cloths (washing machine), entertains us while we eat(TV,Radio)
- Computers run on electricity, garage doors opener
- It moves Air craft, turns wheels, put satellite in orbit
Unfortunately technology requires lot of energy
For the past century we have been getting this power from fossil fuels which is a limited resources , expert can’t guarantee that they will discover enough fossil fuels to keep us going for the next 40 0r 200 years.
Even if we had unlimited supply of fossil fuels using solar energy and other renewable is better for our environment.
Renewable energy uses energy sources that are continually replenished by nature
They’ve been here since the world begun
These fuels are turned into usable forms of energy: electricity, heat, mechanical power and chemicals
Climate change is accelerating, but there’s a massive ray of hope: clean energy is booming, producing nearly 20% of the world's electricity! Incredibly, the US and EU are threatening to stifle this breakthrough -- but together we can stop them.
In the last decade the Chinese government has invested billions in solar, sending panel prices plummeting and making clean green tech almost as cheap as dirty fossil fuels. But the US and EU, who give billions in taxpayer subsidies to Big Oil and Coal, are about to drive solar prices back up by putting tariffs on China, and now China is threatening to retaliate. A full on trade war is brewing that could kill the crucial green energy revolution.
